Registration & Documentation
Are your dogs SABBS registered?+
Yes. Every dog in our breeding programme is registered with the South African Boerboel Breeders' Society (SABBS). All puppies leave our kennel with full SABBS registration documentation, including a three-generation pedigree.
What does SABBS registration mean?+
SABBS is the original and most authoritative breed registry for the Boerboel, based in South Africa — the breed's country of origin. SABBS registration confirms breed authenticity, pedigree verification, DNA parentage confirmation, and compliance with the official breed standard. It is the gold standard for Boerboel registration globally.
Do puppies come with papers?+
Yes. Every puppy includes: SABBS registration certificate, three-generation pedigree, microchip certificate, vaccination record, deworming schedule, and a puppy care guide. For international buyers, we also prepare export pedigrees and any additional documentation required by the destination country.
Reservation & Purchase
How do I reserve a puppy?+
Contact us via WhatsApp (+27 82 820 2330) or email (afrikaboerboels@gmail.com). Tell us what you're looking for — gender, intended purpose, and your location. We'll provide available options, photos, and pedigree information. Once you've selected a puppy, a reservation deposit secures your choice.
What deposit is required?+
A non-refundable reservation deposit is required to secure your puppy. The deposit amount is communicated during the enquiry process and varies based on litter and destination. The deposit is deducted from the total purchase price.
Can I choose a specific puppy?+
Yes. Once a litter is available, we share photos and videos of individual puppies. Selection is typically made at 4–6 weeks of age based on temperament assessment, structural evaluation, and the buyer's requirements. Early reservations get first selection priority.
What is your refund policy?+
Reservation deposits are non-refundable. In exceptional circumstances, deposits may be transferred to a future litter at our discretion. Full terms are communicated in writing before any deposit is accepted.
Health & Welfare
What vaccinations do puppies receive?+
Puppies receive a comprehensive vaccination protocol: first vaccination at 4 weeks, second at 6 weeks, and third at 9 weeks. This includes protection against distemper, parvovirus, hepatitis, and parainfluenza. A full vaccination card is provided with each puppy.
Are puppies microchipped?+
Yes. Every puppy is microchipped with an ISO 11784/11785 compliant chip before leaving our kennel. The microchip number is registered on the national database and is included in all documentation. This is also a requirement for international export.
What deworming schedule do you follow?+
Puppies are dewormed at 2, 4, 6, and 8 weeks of age, and again before collection or shipping. We use veterinary-grade deworming products. A complete deworming record is provided with each puppy, and we recommend continued deworming at 3-month intervals.
International Export
Do you export internationally?+
Yes. International export is a core part of our programme. We have extensive experience shipping dogs to 12+ countries across five continents, including the UAE, Europe, USA, Australia, and various African nations.
Which countries have you exported to?+
Our dogs have been delivered to buyers in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Netherlands, Germany, United Kingdom, France, United States, Canada, Australia, Nigeria, Tanzania, Kenya, Mozambique, and other nations. Contact us for country-specific guidance.
What documents are needed for import?+
Requirements vary by destination, but typically include: veterinary health certificate, rabies vaccination certificate, SABBS export pedigree, microchip verification, blood test results (for EU/Australia), and an import permit from the destination country. We guide buyers through the complete documentation process.
How is shipping handled?+
We arrange IATA-compliant shipping via approved airlines. The dog is provided with an approved travel crate, acclimatised before travel, and delivered to the departure airport with all documentation. The buyer collects at the destination airport. We provide tracking and updates throughout.
What are the costs involved in international shipping?+
Shipping costs are separate from the dog purchase price and vary significantly by destination. Costs typically include: IATA-approved crate, veterinary examination and certification fees, airline cargo fees, SABBS export documentation, and handling charges. We provide a detailed cost breakdown during the enquiry process.
